Gas in Fresh Water Tank

scottatlscottatl Posts: 1Member

The Marina where I get my gas, filled my fresh water tank with fuel. It appears that the boat was built around the water reservoir so I have not figured out a way to get the gas out. We tried a hand pump, but it is very difficult to get any hose into the water reservoir as the filler house is verigted and takes several turns.. I have a Hurricane 2001 Sundeck 187 OB. The other problem is that the pump motor is not working so I cannot get water out of the house either. Unless you are 1ft tall or have 5 ft arms, I have not figured out a way to get to the reservoir directy. Any help would be appreciated!

Looks like the only way to resolve this is by a complete purge of the system. Completely flush with water and trigger spray until empty. You may need to shoot an email to Terri in Hurricane Customer Support for more clarification on this process.
