I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A 2007 FD202IO WITH A I/O 5.0L MPI WHAT KIND OF TOP SPEED CAN I EXPECT OUT OF TJIS BOAT AT HALF CAPACITY.

    Know a guy with one on my lake, but I think he has a Volvo on his (don't know the size).  Anyhow, I know he can do around 50 mph with just me and him on the boat.

    With a boat that size, with that engine, I'd be surprised if you didn't hit mid 50s with no problems.  However, the prop setup on the boat will certainly have an impact on the overall top speed.  Might be propped for water sports giving you better hole shot, but will limit the upper end.  

    Either way, you shouldn't have a problem hitting 50s as Ernest T mentioned.
